Physical and chemical indexes of ramming material

The wrong quality ramming material is a kind of unshaped refractory material, which is composed of fused corundum aggregate particles and a small amount of additives. The product is easy to use, room temperature hardening, high temperature compressive strength, thermal expansion and shrinkage of small, strong resistance to solution erosion and so on. It is the most ideal refractory material used in the sealing layer of the glass melting furnace pool.

The wrong-quality ramming material is prepared by using high-quality wrong-mo sand bone, powder and aluminum phosphate as binding agent and admixture according to the best proportion. It has low thermal conductivity at high temperature, good thermal shock resistance, chemical stability, good corrosion resistance to molten glass and liquid metal, stable operation in oxidizing atmosphere, no chemical reaction with molten metal, and is an excellent thermal rigid amorphous material. Widely used in glass furnace bottom, ladle and circulating fluidized bed boiler and other fields.

The choice of binding agent for ramming material should be appropriate, some do not use binding agent, and some only add a small amount of flux. Acidic ramming materials are commonly used as binding agents such as sodium silicate, ethyl silicate, silica gel, etc. Among them, potassium ramming materials are mostly used as borate: alkaline ramming materials are commonly used as chloride salts and sulfates, etc. Organic matters and temporary binding agents with high carbon content that can form carbon bonds at high temperatures are also often used. The dry ramming material is added with an appropriate amount of iron-containing flux.
